Structural Characterisations of Nanostructured Materials
The structural diversity of nanocrystal self-assemblies imply development of high-level characterizations, which provide access to their structure-properties relationships.
I’m excited to probe the structures of these original materials from the atom to nanocrystal self-assembly length scales. As for instances, when nanocrystals exhibit orientational order in addition to their positional order, the final superlattices are called mesocrystal such as observed in Nature. These various ordering scales imply technics such as electron microscopies, wide and small angle diffraction. |
